As part of the Advisory Practice, CFO Advisory (CFOA) Services professionals are “trusted advisers” for the CFO and other financial executives of major organizations. They focus on finance strategy and transformation. Projects typically involve finance and accounting processes, analysis, operations, controls and performance, budgeting and forecasting, financial closing, financial and management reporting and shared services. Their professionals bring leading practices and recommendations to clients to help streamline and create more efficient processes within the finance function.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day management and execution of engagements
- Work under the direction of a Manager, Sr. Manager or Director in the execution of engagements
- Serve a variety of clients within multiple industries delivering high quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance industry or insurance auditing (Life & Health, Property &
Casualty, and/or Managed Care)
- Insurance regulations, NAIC initiatives, statutory accounting matters or financial
analysis
- MBA and/or CPA
- 6-10 + years experience in accounting and/or finance in a corporate environment or experience in a public accounting or other professional services firm
- Strong understanding of business processes (e.g., monthly close-consolidation-and-reporting cycle; planning, budgeting and forecasting, order to cash), as well as process analysis and design skills
- Experience with special projects involving business process improvement or the selection and implementation of shared services, outsourcing, ERP or BPM systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and teammates
- Self-starter personality that can work well with others
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Broad industry understanding of the markets you have you have served.
